Detailed Description

peon-ping is a notification tool that delivers voice lines and visual overlays to alert developers when AI coding agents need attention or complete tasks.

The problem it solves is the loss of focus and wasted time that occurs when developers step away from their terminal while waiting for AI agents to finish or request permission. peon-ping works by triggering game character voice lines and bold on-screen banners from franchises like Warcraft, StarCraft, Portal, and Zelda whenever an AI agent needs interaction. The tool integrates with multiple AI coding platforms through hooks and adapters, and also exposes an MCP server interface that allows agents to select their own sounds programmatically.
