Detailed Description

PGO is a Kubernetes operator that automates the deployment and management of production-grade PostgreSQL clusters.

The operator solves the complexity of running PostgreSQL on Kubernetes by providing a declarative, GitOps-friendly approach to cluster management. Rather than manually configuring and maintaining PostgreSQL instances, users define their desired cluster state through Kubernetes manifests, and PGO automatically handles provisioning, scaling, and ongoing operations. The tool manages high availability, disaster recovery, and monitoring out of the box, with all communications secured over TLS.
