How this project is maintained

Roughly one issue in two opened in the past year never receives a reply. 100% of open issues come from outside the core team, so the backlog reflects real-world use rather than internal planning. Work labelled "问题反馈" is answered fastest, typically in about 4 days, while "未加固" waits about 6 weeks. 47% of tracked open issues have had no activity in three months. Only 47% of issues opened in the past year have been closed.

Detailed Description

NewHookVip is an Xposed module that unlocks premium features and removes restrictions in Android applications.

The module addresses the problem of paywalled or restricted functionality in Android apps by hooking into application code at runtime through the Xposed framework. It operates through three distinct functional categories: crack features that unlock premium or advanced capabilities by simply enabling the target app in the framework, extended features that require manual configuration within the module itself, and extended app features that inject functionality switches directly into target application interfaces. Users enable functionality by selecting target applications in the framework, restarting the app, and optionally configuring additional settings within the module or within the target application itself.

The tool is designed for users seeking to bypass premium paywalls and access restricted features in specific applications. It requires either LSPosed or LSPatch as the underlying Xposed framework implementation. The module maintains a curated list of supported applications with varying levels of functionality coverage. Users should be aware that compatibility depends on application versions, and unsupported or incompatible versions may not respond to the module's hooks. The project provides an issue tracker for reporting non-functional features or compatibility problems.

The project was reconstructed as a rewrite of an earlier version and maintains active communication channels through Telegram for announcements and community discussion. The module is distributed through GitHub releases and accepts user feedback through the repository's issue system, indicating ongoing maintenance and responsiveness to reported problems.
