Commits and code review are not counted. labeled and renamed are excluded because GitHub issue forms record the issue author as the actor. Figures from October 18, 2026. This count is not comparable across projects: each project's automation decides which of these events a person emits. How this is counted.

Detailed Description

Perses Helm Charts is a collection of Helm charts that provision Perses and the Perses Operator on Kubernetes.

The charts address the need to deploy Perses observability dashboards and their management operator into Kubernetes clusters with standard, repeatable configurations. The Perses chart deploys a Perses instance as either a StatefulSet with file-based storage or a Deployment with SQL-backed storage, handling service exposure, ingress routing, TLS termination, data persistence, and optional Prometheus integration through ServiceMonitor. The Perses Operator chart installs the operator component that enables declarative management of Perses instances, dashboards, and data sources through Kubernetes custom resources, including CRD installation, RBAC configuration, webhook setup, and cert-manager integration.

Teams running Perses on Kubernetes should use these charts to standardize deployment across environments. The charts suit organizations already using Helm for infrastructure management and wanting to avoid manual Kubernetes manifest creation. The Perses chart offers flexibility between stateful file-based and stateless SQL-backed deployments depending on persistence requirements. The Perses Operator chart requires cert-manager for production use to handle webhook certificate management, though an installation path exists for development scenarios without it.

The project maintains a developer guide covering local setup, testing, and documentation generation for contributors. The repository includes detailed chart-specific documentation and maintains a defined list of chart owners and maintainers. Contribution guidelines are documented for those wishing to extend or modify the charts.
