Maintainer activity

9 people did triage or write work on this repository in the last 12 months.

Counts unlabeled, assigned, unassigned, milestoned, demilestoned, locked, unlocked over the last 12 months. These are issue and pull request events that require triage or write permission. Commits and code review are not counted. labeled and renamed are excluded because GitHub issue forms record the issue author as the actor. Figures from October 11, 2026. This count is not comparable across projects: each project's automation decides which of these events a person emits.

How this project is maintained

Detailed Description

OpenClaw Enterprise is an open source control plane for managing AI agents, comparable to Kubernetes but purpose-built for agentic workloads.

The tool addresses the operational challenge of deploying, managing, and scaling AI agents across environments. It provides a vendor-neutral platform with a control plane that handles agent lifecycle management, configuration, and execution. The system supports both local development setups using Docker Compose and production deployments on Kubernetes clusters, allowing teams to manage agents consistently regardless of infrastructure choice.

Teams building production AI agent systems should consider this tool if they need centralized management across multiple agents and environments. It suits organizations that already operate Kubernetes infrastructure or those willing to adopt it, since the platform is designed around Kubernetes primitives. The tool includes features like Agent Presets for configuration reuse, a browser console for management, and support for model selection and API key management. Local development is supported through a Compose-based preview, though agent deployment requires Kubernetes. The project requires Node.js, Go, Python, Docker or Podman, k3d, kubectl, Helm, and Bash for operation.

Development activity shows consistent attention to testing infrastructure and documentation. The project maintains comprehensive local checks covering formatting, linting, type checking, and CLI verification. Testing documentation distinguishes between PR-safe checks and protected integrations that require additional setup. The codebase is organized into clear responsibility boundaries across controller, contracts, lifecycle management, identity and access control, and audit components. Contribution guidance includes both a quickstart for first-time contributors and detailed testing documentation covering PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes scenarios.
