Detailed Description

AnimeFlow is a cross-platform anime streaming and tracking client that runs on Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, and Linux.

The tool addresses the fragmented experience of discovering, tracking, and watching anime across devices. It integrates with Bangumi to synchronize user collections and watch history, connects to multiple subtitle and danmaku sources including Bilibili, Gamer, and Danmaku Play, and supports custom data source configuration through XPath-based web scraping. The player includes real-time video upscaling via Anime4K with both efficiency and quality modes, anime identification through screenshot matching via trace.moe, and flexible danmaku customization including transparency, font size, speed, display regions, and filtering by type.

Developers should adopt this tool if they want a unified anime client across multiple platforms without maintaining separate applications. It suits users who actively track shows on Bangumi and want that data synchronized locally, those who prefer multiple danmaku sources, and anyone with mid-to-high-end hardware interested in real-time anime upscaling. The project is still under active development with potential changes to features and data sources.

The project maintains active issue tracking and welcomes community feedback on problems and feature requests. Development continues with ongoing refinement of functionality and data source reliability.
