Counts unlabeled, assigned, unassigned, milestoned, demilestoned, locked, unlocked over the last 12 months. These are issue and pull request events that require triage or write permission. Commits and code review are not counted. labeled and renamed are excluded because GitHub issue forms record the issue author as the actor. Figures from October 18, 2026. This count is not comparable across projects: each project's automation decides which of these events a person emits. How this is counted.

Detailed Description

Lighthouse is a lightweight ChatOps-based webhook handler that triggers pipelines based on webhooks from multiple git providers.

Lighthouse solves the problem of integrating git events with pipeline execution across heterogeneous environments. It accepts webhooks from GitHub, GitHub Enterprise, BitBucket Server, and GitLab, then routes those events to trigger JayeX Pipelines, Tekton Pipelines, or Jenkins Jobs. The tool uses a plugin architecture inherited from Prow, allowing it to respond to commands embedded in pull request comments and commit messages. Configuration uses the same YAML format as Prow, making migration straightforward for teams already familiar with that system.

Teams should adopt Lighthouse if they need multi-git-provider support without being locked into GitHub-only tooling. It suits organizations running Tekton or Jenkins that want event-driven pipeline triggering with ChatOps capabilities. Compared to Prow, Lighthouse uses the go-scm abstraction layer to support any git provider rather than GitHub alone, and it defines its own LighthouseJob CRD instead of relying on ProwJob. Porting Prow plugins to Lighthouse is documented as relatively straightforward, primarily involving import changes and mapping GitHub client structs to their go-scm equivalents.

The project maintains active development with regular commits across its core components. Build tooling is accessible through Make targets, and the codebase includes debugging documentation and local development guidance. The project provides installation instructions via Helm Chart with provider-specific setup guides for both Tekton and Jenkins integration paths.
