Detailed Description

ASWF Sample WG is a repository template for establishing working groups within the Academy Software Foundation.

This template addresses the need for consistent structure and governance across ASWF working groups. It provides a standardized format that new working groups can adopt to organize their purpose, goals, non-goals, deliverables, and communication channels. The approach works by offering pre-defined sections and placeholder text that working group organizers replace with their specific context, ensuring that each group follows a common organizational pattern modeled on established examples from similar foundation structures.

Organizations creating new ASWF working groups should adopt this template to maintain consistency across the foundation's governance structure. It suits any initiative that needs to establish a dedicated working group with clear objectives and communication infrastructure. The template is designed to be modified and customized rather than used as-is, with all italicized sections intended as guidance for what content should replace them.

The project functions as a static template with no active development cycle. It serves as a reference implementation rather than a tool requiring ongoing maintenance or updates.
