yanue/V2rayU

V2rayU is a macOS client application for V2Ray-based proxy networking that enables circumvention of network restrictions.

The tool addresses the need for a native macOS interface to V2Ray, a proxy framework that supports multiple protocols. V2rayU wraps the V2Ray core and provides a graphical client written in Swift, allowing users to configure and manage proxy connections through a native application rather than command-line tools. It supports multiple service protocols including Trojan, VMess, Shadowsocks, SOCKS5, VLESS, and XHTTP, accommodating different proxy server configurations. The application handles subscription management, QR code import and sharing, clipboard-based configuration import, and manual server setup.

Developers and users choosing V2rayU should understand it is specifically designed for macOS and provides a native application experience on that platform. The tool suits anyone running macOS who needs to configure V2Ray-compatible proxies through a graphical interface rather than configuration files. The project supports the full range of modern V2Ray protocols and subscription workflows, making it practical for users managing multiple proxy configurations or frequently switching between servers.

The project shows active maintenance with regular updates addressing bug fixes and protocol support. Development activity demonstrates responsiveness to user-reported issues and incorporation of feedback into releases. The codebase maintains focus on macOS-specific implementation details and native application patterns appropriate to the platform.
