Detailed Description

volcano-sh/apis is a Kubernetes Custom Resource Definition library that provides API types, informers, listers, and clientsets for Volcano resources.

Volcano is a batch scheduling system for Kubernetes. This repository exposes the custom resource definitions and generated Go client code that allow other projects to interact with Volcano's scheduling APIs. The tool generates strongly-typed Go bindings from the CRD specifications, enabling developers to programmatically create, read, and watch Volcano resources without manually constructing API requests.

This library is essential for anyone building controllers, operators, or applications that need to integrate with Volcano's job scheduling capabilities. It suits projects that extend Volcano's functionality or need to manage Volcano resources from custom Go code. The repository is designed as a standalone import target, allowing consumers to depend on the APIs without pulling in Volcano's full codebase.

The repository operates as a read-only staging mirror that automatically syncs from the main Volcano project. All contributions and changes flow through the primary Volcano repository, with this repository serving purely as a distribution point for the API definitions and generated code. The separation of concerns means governance, workflows, and security policies are maintained independently in this repository, while the actual API definitions and code generation logic remain in the main project.
