Detailed Description

Symfony Demo Application is a reference application that demonstrates how to develop applications following Symfony best practices.

The project solves the problem of learning how to structure and build Symfony applications correctly by providing a working example that implements recommended patterns and conventions. Rather than starting from scratch or learning from fragmented documentation, developers can examine a complete, functional application that embodies Symfony best practices throughout its codebase.

The tool is designed for developers new to Symfony who want to understand how to organize a real application, and for teams establishing coding standards based on official recommendations. It serves as a learning resource and architectural reference rather than a starting template for production projects. The application requires PHP 8.2.0 or higher and the PDO-SQLite extension, with installation available through either Symfony CLI or Composer. It can be run using Symfony CLI, a traditional web server like Nginx or Apache, or PHP's built-in web server for local development.

The project maintains active development with regular updates to align with current Symfony versions and best practices. The codebase receives consistent refinement to ensure examples remain relevant and accurate. Test coverage is included and can be executed through the standard test command, indicating attention to code quality and reliability in the reference implementation.
