Counts unlabeled, assigned, unassigned, milestoned, demilestoned, locked, unlocked over the last 12 months. These are issue and pull request events that require triage or write permission. Commits and code review are not counted. labeled and renamed are excluded because GitHub issue forms record the issue author as the actor. Figures from October 18, 2026. This count is not comparable across projects: each project's automation decides which of these events a person emits. How this is counted.

Detailed Description

@shadcn/lint is an agent-first linter for Tailwind design systems that lets you write design system rules that agents can verify.

The tool addresses the gap between TypeScript type enforcement and actionable guidance for AI agents writing code. When a component violates a design system rule, TypeScript types can block the violation but only tell an agent that something is not allowed. @shadcn/lint goes further by providing specific guidance on what to use instead, drawing from your actual components, variants, and theme values. You define policies like which spacing properties can change, which theme values are required, or which parts of a component can be customized, and the linter enforces them while explaining fixes in terms of your design system.

The tool works with existing Tailwind v4 projects without requiring a rewrite of your components or design system. It integrates with both ESLint and Oxlint and supports React, Svelte, and Vue. You configure rules declaratively to express design policies that would otherwise require complex TypeScript types. The linter can restrict individual component parts with their own rules, allow spacing changes while requiring theme values, or control which CSS properties agents can modify. The README does not compare it to other linters or design system enforcement approaches beyond the TypeScript type example.

The project shows active development with testing across multiple AI models demonstrating that agents reach zero violations in a single correction round when given lint feedback. The tool has been evaluated on task runs showing that lint-guided corrections cost substantially less than rules-only approaches for agent-based workflows.
