Detailed Description

YACE is a Prometheus exporter for AWS CloudWatch metrics that discovers services through AWS tags and exposes CloudWatch data as Prometheus metrics with tags preserved as labels.

The tool solves the problem of integrating AWS CloudWatch metrics into Prometheus monitoring systems. It works by discovering AWS services using tag-based filtering, querying CloudWatch for their metrics, and exposing those metrics in Prometheus format while maintaining AWS tags as metric labels for flexible querying and aggregation.
