Detailed Description

Loop is a macOS app that provides window management through an elegant radial menu interface.

Loop addresses the friction of manual window arrangement on macOS by offering a radial menu triggered by a key press, allowing you to move and resize windows by holding the trigger key and moving your cursor in the desired direction. The tool includes a preview feature that shows the resize action before you commit to it, reducing mistakes. You can assign custom keyboard shortcuts to trigger window manipulation actions, and the app supports cycles that let you perform multiple window manipulations in succession by repeating the same key combination. The tool also includes a stash feature that hides windows at the screen edge to declutter your workspace, with access via hovering or keybind.

Loop suits macOS users who spend significant time managing multiple windows and want faster, more intuitive control than traditional window snapping or manual resizing. The radial menu approach is particularly useful for trackpad users and those who prefer mouse-based interactions over keyboard shortcuts alone. The customization options, including personalized colors and settings, make it adaptable to different workflows and preferences.

The project maintains active development with regular feature additions and improvements. The tool has established community engagement through a dedicated Discord channel. Development is transparent, with the codebase publicly available and issue tracking visible to users considering adoption.
