Counts unlabeled, assigned, unassigned, milestoned, demilestoned, locked, unlocked over the last 12 months. These are issue and pull request events that require triage or write permission. Commits and code review are not counted. labeled and renamed are excluded because GitHub issue forms record the issue author as the actor. Figures from October 18, 2026. This count is not comparable across projects: each project's automation decides which of these events a person emits. How this is counted.

Detailed Description

Yopass is a secret-sharing service that enables secure distribution of passwords, secrets, and files through encrypted one-time links.

The tool addresses the problem of safely transmitting sensitive information over untrusted channels. It works by encrypting data client-side before upload, generating a unique link that can be shared, and automatically destroying the secret after a single access or after a configurable expiration time. This approach ensures that even the server cannot read the shared content, and recipients cannot access it multiple times.

Yopass suits teams and individuals who need a self-hosted alternative to commercial secret-sharing platforms. It is particularly valuable for organizations with security requirements that demand end-to-end encryption and full control over where secrets are stored. The tool is designed for deployment in private infrastructure, making it appropriate for enterprises that cannot rely on third-party services for sensitive data distribution.

The project shows consistent maintenance with regular updates addressing both functionality and security concerns. Development activity demonstrates responsiveness to reported issues and a commitment to keeping dependencies current. The codebase reflects attention to the core encryption and one-time-link mechanisms that form the foundation of the service.
