How this project is maintained

Around half of the issues opened in the past year never receive a reply. 89% of open issues come from outside the core team, so the backlog reflects real-world use rather than internal planning. 60% of tracked open issues have had no activity in three months, so the open count overstates what is actively being worked. Only 10% of issues opened in the past year have been closed. Three people close 62% of everything that gets resolved.

Detailed Description

AionUi is a web-based application for coordinating work with multiple AI agents across different CLI tools and language models.

The tool addresses the fragmentation of AI agent interfaces by providing a unified workspace where users can interact with agents from OpenClaw, Hermes, Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode and other CLI-based systems. It eliminates setup complexity by accepting any API key and offering built-in agents, allowing users to assemble teams of agents and run them continuously without manual intervention. The application supports remote access and runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Teams building AI-driven automation workflows should consider AionUi if they need to coordinate multiple agent types without managing separate CLI environments. It suits projects where 24/7 automation is valuable and where customizing agent behavior matters. The tool is particularly relevant for users already working with multiple AI providers who want a single interface rather than switching between different command-line tools.

The project maintains a substantial user base, with almost all open issues coming from outside users reporting real-world problems rather than from the core team. Maintainers respond to new issues and pull requests within a day. Work tracked in the issue system centers on bug fixes, enhancements, and user questions.
