How this project is maintained

Roughly one issue in four opened in the past year never receives a reply. 100% of open issues come from outside the core team, so the backlog reflects real-world use rather than internal planning. Work labelled "bug" is answered fastest, typically in about 4 days, while "overlay" waits about 2 months. 62% of issues opened in the past year have been closed, leaving a working backlog. Three people close 85% of everything that gets resolved.

Detailed Description

Hearthstone Deck Tracker is a deck tracker and deck manager for Hearthstone on Windows that automatically monitors your cards and your opponent's plays during matches.

The tool solves the problem of manually tracking card state during Hearthstone games by automatically detecting cards as they are played. It displays an in-game overlay showing cards remaining in your deck, your hand count, draw probabilities, and detailed information about your opponent's hand including how long they have held each card. The tracker attempts to automatically select the correct deck you are playing and records game statistics including win rates, opponent classes, and cards drawn or played in each match.

The tool suits players who want detailed game statistics and deck management without manual tracking. Its deck manager imports from multiple deck-building websites, allows filtering by custom tags, and lets you work around Hearthstone's deck limit by exporting decks back into the game. The overlay and additional windows can be customized or disabled entirely. Streamers have specific setup instructions for integration with broadcasting software and Twitch extensions. The project is extensible through a plugin system.

Development activity shows consistent maintenance with established contribution guidelines and a coding style document. The project maintains active community channels including a Discord server and social media presence for announcements and troubleshooting. Integration with HSReplay.net is supported through a dedicated support channel, indicating ongoing partnership development.
