Monitorian is a Windows desktop tool to adjust the brightness of multiple monitors with ease.
The tool addresses the challenge of controlling brightness across multiple external monitors, which Windows does not natively support for displays connected via DDC-CI. Monitorian communicates directly with monitors using the DDC-CI protocol to adjust brightness individually or synchronously across all connected displays. The tool also allows users to modify the adjustable range of brightness and contrast for each monitor, and on systems with ambient light sensors, it can display sensor readings alongside configured brightness levels.
Monitorian suits users with multiple external monitors who need centralized brightness control without relying on individual monitor buttons or manufacturer software. It works with any DDC-CI-enabled external monitor on Windows 7 or newer, requiring only the .NET Framework 4.8. The tool is available through the Microsoft Store for Windows 10 and newer, via Windows Package Manager, or as a standalone installer. No comparison to alternative tools is provided in the README.
The project maintains broad multilingual support with translations in more than twenty languages contributed by community members. Development activity shows ongoing maintenance with releases available through multiple distribution channels including the Microsoft Store and GitHub releases.
