Detailed Description

AsyncAPI website is a documentation and marketing website for the AsyncAPI specification built with Next.js and React.

The AsyncAPI specification defines a standard for describing event-driven APIs. This repository hosts the public-facing website that serves as the central hub for learning about, documenting, and promoting the specification. The site is built with Next.js for server-side rendering and static generation, styled with Tailwind CSS, and includes Storybook for component documentation and development. Icons are managed through a design system in Figma and follow a consistent 24-pixel grid with 1.5-pixel stroke styling.

Developers contributing to or maintaining the AsyncAPI ecosystem should use this repository if they need to update documentation, add blog posts, or modify the website's UI components. The project is suited for community contributors looking to improve AsyncAPI's public presence and documentation. The repository provides tooling to make contributions straightforward, including an interactive command to bootstrap new blog posts with pre-filled front matter and support for Gitpod codespaces to eliminate local setup friction.

The project maintains active community engagement with labeled good-first-issue items to onboard new contributors. Development activity shows consistent deployment through Netlify with visible build status tracking. The codebase uses TypeScript across a Next.js and React foundation, indicating a focus on type safety in the frontend layer.
