It works by accepting a high-level outcome request, breaking it into steps, executing those steps across your desktop and connected applications, and checking in with you before taking consequential actions like sending messages or modifying calendars. The approach emphasizes governance and transparency: every action is logged and requires approval, and the tool never forces you into a specific model or service. You can bring your own API key for OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or other providers, run fully local with Ollama, or use open-weight models. Data leaves your machine only through the model and integrations you explicitly choose.

The tool is designed for professionals who need AI to handle security reviews, cloud posture audits, incident triage, document preparation, and standing automations like morning briefs or weekly reports. Specialist coworkers come pre-configured with the tools and workflows for specific domains, with security-focused coworkers shipping first.
