VirtualBrowser is a fingerprint browser that creates and manages multiple isolated browser environments on a single Windows device, each with independent digital signatures to prevent account linking and tracking.
The tool addresses the problem of browser fingerprinting, where websites collect characteristics like User-Agent, language, resolution, fonts, and Canvas/WebGL data to identify or correlate users. VirtualBrowser isolates fingerprint configurations across separate environments, allowing users to maintain distinct identities within compliance requirements. It covers a comprehensive range of fingerprint attributes including operating system and browser version spoofing, proxy support, language and timezone settings, WebRTC leak prevention, geolocation, screen resolution, font randomization, Canvas and WebGL noise injection, AudioContext obfuscation, and hardware concurrency masking.
The tool suits developers and users managing multiple accounts who need anti-detection capabilities without relying on external fingerprint-spoofing services. It works well for web scraping, multi-account operations, and Web3 airdrop activities where account association poses a risk. The centralized management interface allows creating, launching, editing, and deleting browser environments from a single dashboard. VirtualBrowser integrates with Chromium automation tools like Playwright, making it compatible with existing browser automation workflows. Currently the tool supports Windows 7 and later, with Mac, Android, and Linux support planned.
The project maintains active development with regular updates to its fingerprint capabilities and environment management features. Documentation includes practical examples for automation integration and references standard fingerprint testing tools like FingerprintJS and BrowserLeaks for validation. The codebase is written primarily in Vue and remains open to community contributions through its GitHub repository.
