Detailed Description

OneUptime is a complete open-source monitoring and observability platform that consolidates uptime monitoring, incident management, on-call scheduling, status pages, logs, traces, metrics, and application performance monitoring into a single self-hosted solution.

The platform addresses the fragmentation of modern observability by replacing multiple specialized SaaS tools with one integrated system. It detects outages automatically, routes alerts to the appropriate on-call personnel, updates public status pages, correlates logs and traces to identify root causes, and can even generate pull requests for fixes. The approach combines agentic capabilities with traditional observability signals to accelerate incident detection and resolution.

Teams should adopt this tool if they want to reduce vendor lock-in and consolidate their observability spending by self-hosting rather than subscribing to separate monitoring, incident management, and status page services. It suits organizations of any size that need comprehensive visibility across their infrastructure and applications without the complexity of integrating multiple point solutions.
