6 people did triage or write work on this repository in the last 12 months.

Counts unlabeled, assigned, unassigned, milestoned, demilestoned, locked, unlocked over the last 12 months. These are issue and pull request events that require triage or write permission. Commits and code review are not counted. labeled and renamed are excluded because GitHub issue forms record the issue author as the actor. Figures from October 11, 2026. Detailed Description

EverRoom is a local-first personal context workspace that integrates files, conversations, and AI agents to help you organize and act on information connected to your projects.

The tool addresses the problem that AI agents produce useful results only when given relevant context, yet assembling that context from scattered sources is difficult and error-prone. EverRoom solves this by creating a dedicated workspace where you connect information from local files, repositories, meetings, and optional services like Slack, Notion, or Gmail. You then organize these sources into a Context Room scoped to a specific project or topic, write and remember decisions in Context Docs with traceable sources, and delegate work to agents that can see only the relevant context. The approach keeps generated work connected to its sources so corrections can flow back into future tasks, making the feedback loop reversible and human-governed.

You should consider EverRoom if you work with AI agents on projects where context matters and you need to maintain visibility over where information comes from. It suits teams and individuals who want more control than a chat interface provides but need tighter integration than a general note-taking system. The tool is designed as a layer between your data and AI rather than as a chat client or thin retrieval-augmented generation screen, so it works best for people who value traceability and the ability to inspect and correct generated work before it influences the next step.

The project is under active development with macOS as the current development target, and the README notes that APIs, storage schemas, and agent contracts may change as the first complete local workflow is being finished. Development activity shows ongoing work to stabilize the core product loop before broader platform support.
