SSTap-Rule is a collection of routing table rules for the SSTap network acceleration tool that extends support to additional games.
The project addresses the need for game-specific routing configurations after the original SSTap development ceased. It maintains and distributes routing rules that modify system routing tables to optimize network paths for online games. Users download rule files or rule packages and import them into their SSTap installation folder to apply game-specific network acceleration settings. The project provides two GEOIP data sources with different trade-offs: one prioritizes accuracy while the other emphasizes efficiency.
This tool suits users running legacy SSTap installations who need routing rules for specific games not covered by the original software. It works best for those comfortable with manual rule installation and willing to manage rule files within their SSTap directory. The project explicitly welcomes community contributions and provides wiki tutorials for users who want to write custom routing rules rather than wait for new rules to be added.
The project accepts community-submitted rules and issue requests for new game support, with contributors able to create custom routing configurations following provided documentation. Rule packages are distributed periodically through release archives, though update frequency for packaged distributions is slower than individual rule availability.
