Detailed Description

EhSyringe is a browser extension that injects Chinese translations into the E-Hentai website.

The tool solves the problem of navigating E-Hentai's interface and content in English by providing comprehensive Chinese translations across the site. It translates the main interface, individual tags, and tag descriptions. The extension works by replacing translations during DOM loading, so pages display in Chinese immediately without flickering. It maintains a database of tag translations that can be updated independently, and provides search suggestions with tag autocomplete functionality.

The tool suits users who prefer Chinese-language interfaces and want seamless integration with E-Hentai browsing. It is compatible with existing tools like E-Hentai-Downloader and panda bookmarks, and supports installation across multiple platforms: as a Chrome extension loaded in developer mode, as a Firefox extension on ESR, Developer, or Nightly versions, or as a userscript through managers like Tampermonkey. It also works on mobile browsers with custom script support such as Via and Alook through a code injection method.

The project maintains an active translation database and accepts contributions to expand tag coverage.
