Detailed Description

ChatAny is a web application that aggregates multiple AI services including ChatGPT, Stable Diffusion, and Midjourney into a single interface.

The project addresses the need to access various AI tools through one unified platform rather than managing separate accounts and interfaces. It builds on ChatGPT-Next-Web and adds support for image generation services. Users can configure the application with API keys for different AI providers and access them through a responsive web interface that works across devices.

The tool suits developers and users who want to self-host a multi-AI aggregation service. It inherits all functionality from ChatGPT-Next-Web while adding Stable Diffusion image generation and Midjourney support with operations like imagine, upscale, variation, zoom, and regional repainting. The project requires self-hosting a Midjourney proxy service or using a third-party API provider to enable Midjourney features. A PRO version exists that offers additional capabilities including higher performance, more AI modules, and operational features like subscription systems and referral rewards, though the core open-source version provides the foundational multi-AI aggregation.

The project is no longer actively maintained. The README directs users toward an alternative called AQBot, which is presented as a lightweight, cross-platform AI conversation and gateway desktop client offering expanded functionality including web search, conversation compression, multiple models and service providers, knowledge bases, memory, and MCP support.
