Detailed Description

v2ray is a shell script for one-command installation and management of V2Ray proxy servers.

The tool addresses the complexity of deploying and configuring V2Ray by automating the entire setup process and providing streamlined management commands. Rather than requiring manual configuration of V2Ray's native format, the script wraps V2Ray with a command-line interface designed around the most frequent operations: adding, modifying, viewing, and deleting configurations. The core design principle centers on running multiple configurations simultaneously while keeping each operation fast and simple. Adding a new configuration takes under one second through a single command, and the same speed applies to other management tasks.

The script suits developers and operators who need to deploy V2Ray proxies without deep familiarity with V2Ray's configuration syntax. It supports all common protocols including Shadowsocks, VMess with multiple transports (TCP, mKCP, QUIC, WebSocket, HTTP/2, gRPC), VLESS, and Trojan, each available through one-command setup with automatic TLS handling. Additional features include dynamic port assignment, BBR congestion control enablement, IP filtering to block Chinese addresses and BitTorrent traffic, and the ability to quickly change ports, UUIDs, passwords, domains, paths, encryption methods, and SNI values. The tool exposes V2Ray's API for programmatic control and maintains compatibility with native V2Ray commands.
